The History of Agriturismo Vecchia Torre

S. Nicola Manfredi is a smll village near Benevento with 3.500 citizens. His old name was "Castrum Sancti Nicolai Monfredi" from the the of the lord Monfredi then changed on Manfredi in onhor og King Manfredi who lives there.
This small village has  20 land during the time extended himself around the near land. In this land was the holidays farm  "La Vecchia Torre".
originally this was thi was a gig farm with many buildings whit room for peasants, school, or for agricultural duty. 
La Vecchia Torre was born in october of 1999 from the restructure of the old buildings. It's on a hill in the heart of sannio, from where it dominates surrounding campaign. 
The holidays farm La Vecchia Torre is caratterizza per un'antica torre costruita all'inizio del 1900 da una famiglia di nobili. 
Alta circa 20 metri, la torre aveva sulla sommità un aeroplano che, si narra, fu fatto costruire da un padre per il figlio che si avventurava nel mondo dell'aeronautica. Oggi questa torre colombaia, che si erge con tutta la sua maestosità, non risponde più al suo disegno originario: allegerita dal peso dell'aereo, dialetticamente indicato come l'apparecchio, è considerata un bene culturale, è protetta dalle Belle Arti ed è spesso meta di curiosità di chi sceglie di visitarla.
